KATRINA ROSE

Katrina is a multi-award winning composer with a passion for storytelling whose work can be heard across film, documentary, theatre, television, and games. She has a knack for writing cinematic and emotionally sensitive scores across a range of genres and styles, from epic orchestral, intimate folk, to modern electronic and experimental sounds. Her narrative-driven approach leads to music that supports and elevates stories from the screen to the West End. Katrina is also a vocalist and songwriter, and her voice can be heard across cinematic, contemporary and traditional scores in her own and others’ work.

Katrina’s work has been three-time BAFTA Student longlisted, and has won a Student Academy Award. She is a Music + Sound Awards ‘Composer Rising Star’ finalist, and her acapella score for Sunday Lunch won Best Original Score at the 2026 Watersprite Awards and was heard at BFI Flare 2026. Her collaborative score for the Steam game DJ Bunny, for which she was also the Wwise music programmer, was recognised for Best Audio Design at GDL Indie Awards 2026. She has contributed her work to films, television, and commercials for the BBC, ITV, Disney, Channel 4, and Netflix, and has premiered at festivals such as the BFI London Film Festival.

Katrina has an MFA in Composing from the National Film and Television School and a MA in Psychological and Behavioural Sciences from the University of Cambridge where she also wrote and directed two original musicals and AMDed and performed in the Cambridge Greek Play.
